Warranty and Standard Return Policies

We at plc-mall.com always do our very best to satisfy our customers. Therefore, we offer a fair warranty for all parts we provide. In all cases we want to resolve the issue immediately and satisfactorily for the customer.

We courteously ask you to please read and understand our guidelines below in order to help us quickly and efficiently resolve any situations that demand this type of attention.

Standard Warranty Policy
Original parts are reliable. However, should a component be defective, plc-mall.com will offer a replacement as soon as possible. If no replacement is available, we will issue a fair refund upon receipt of the defective merchandise.

  • We warrant all equipment sold for 12 months
  • Items described "Sold as is", batteries, software, and wear parts are not covered by our Standard Warranty or Return policies
  • For all returns a copy of the delivery note or invoice is absolutely required
  • All returns must include a short but precise description of the defect or problem
  • We cannot accept parts that have been damaged as a result of incorrect handling or faulty operating conditions
  • The serial number and barcode of any item returned must match that of the item we sent
  • All returns must include original plc-mall.com barcode or the Standard Warranty is void
  • Return shipments are the sole responsibility of the customer
  • Please refer to the Standard Return Policy for further instructions on returns

Standard Return Policy
A return for a refund must be done within 30 days from date shipped to customer.

A return for a replacement must be done within 12 months from date shipped to customer.

  • Unless another return policy is indicated and agreed to by both parties, products sold by plc-mall.com are covered by this Standard Return Policy
  • Merchandise under this Standard Return Policy may be returned to plc-mall.com
    a) within 30 days of the date shipped for a refund, or
    b) within 12 months of the date shipped for a replacement of a faulty item. If this item is not available a credit of the amount on the invoice will be provided, minus shipping
  • Batteries and Software are not covered by our Standard Warranty or Return policies
  • All parts returned for refund in a different condition than sold are subject to a 20% restocking fee
  • Please note that the original and return shipping and handling charge will NOT be refunded unless an error occurred on our part
  • Please return all items in the original manufacturer packaging when possible/ Be sure to include any/all accessories, manuals or additional pieces that were in the original package
  • The serial number and barcode of any item returned must match that of the item we sent
  • All returns must include original plc-mall.com barcode or the Standard Warranty is void
  • Be sure to include a brief but accurate description of the defect or problem
  • Please ship any returns in an appropriate shock resistant packaging to the address below
  • Please be sure to mark package "ATTN: RETURNS" in order to avoid any delays in processing

Component Conditions
In the automation industry the condition of components are directly relative to their value. In order to clearly designate to our customers the condition of each component, plc-mall.com adds an alphabetic tag at the end of the manufacturer part number. These endings and their associated conditions are described below:

MFS:  The component is brand new, in the original manufacturer's packaging and has an intact/unbroken factory seal. This item usually has a current series/version and manufacture date.

FS:     The component is new, in the original manufacture's packaging and has an intact/unbroken factory seal. This item was acquired through surplus.

NEW:  The component is new and is, in most cases, in the original packaging where the original seal has been opened. If the component is not in the original packaging, it is packaged securely in a very clean neutral box or ESD bag.

USED: The component was tested thoroughly, cleaned by a trained plc-mall.com technician, and is in perfect functioning order. The part must pass through testing and inspection before being available for sale.
